This page is designed for Intermediate School Coordinators to assist with registration information for school teams and general season information you should know.

Registrations of your teams is through Team Builder in Sporty.  For instructions on how to register your players, please click here: Netball North Harbour - Process (sporty.co.nz)

If you do not have a login to Sporty, please contact Sporty at support@sportsground.co.nz

Team Registration

Team registration close on Thursday 2nd April 2026

Team registrations are completed through Team Builder on Sporty. This is the number of teams that will play in the competition.

Under team name please use numbers - NO TEAM NAMES!   For example Northcote 8/1
It is OK to use initials for schools that use those regularly, eg Takapuna Normal, TNIS.

Please write the team number with Team 1 as 8/1, Team 2 as 8/2 and so on for grading purposes. Note that after grading there is potential for team numbers to change depending on which grade they finish.

Team Allocations

Once the team is registered players need to be put into their teams. Team Builder allows you to drag players from your school list directly to the team OR you can select multiple names and to put them in their team. Players and coaches/managers need to complete a registration form which can be found on the club/school list.

Player Registration

All players need to be registered under NNH to play .  Your 2026 forms are ready to go ... BEFORE SENDING YOUR FORM OUT TO PARENTS, check you are happy with it

  1. Go to Online Registrations from your dashboard.
  2. Click on the Netball Folder and find Netball Registration 2026.
  3. Click on the pencil to edit your form.  You cannot change NNZ or NNH information but you can add your own questions and put in your fees.
  4. Save your form
  5. Click on the little Link button to the right of the form to copy the link.  You can then paste this onto your school website and/or social media pages.  Or insert it into emails to interested parents.

You can reinvite your database from 2025 to reregister (use the little envelope icon to the right of the form) OR click the following link for help

The player registration form can also be found by going to: Registrations 2026  >>  Club & School List
You will find your school form under the intermediate title.

Scoring

We use the "MyNetballManager" app to score all our games. This is available on both the app store and google play for apple and android users.

Teams require a score code to score. Coordinators can find these on Team Builder on the team list directly or by exporting all teams details in bulk.

Please ensure there are a few people in the team who have this code. This means if someone is away, another volunteer can help out. If your phone is not working then please stand with opposition scoring (as per normal process) and use one phone together.

Coordinators meeting

Along with the College coordinator (Gail Griffths) we will be going over more in depth on what coordinators need to know for the season.

School Duty Roster

School Duty is a role where volunteers from each school assist control room personnel to monitor our courts and report problems or help in emergency situations (if they occur)

Each school will be rostered on a certain date during the season. .

Schools are expected to help over all 4 rounds of competition. Those schools with a small number of teams will be paired with another school so the roles are shared.

Please click the adjacent document to find whn your school is rostered and what duty schools are expected to do.

2026 Duty Roster will be published once team registrations close

Time Requests

Time Requests to be made by the School Coordinator ONLY and the form on the right hand side needs to be filled and completed.

Time requests cost $20 each.

Time Requests are for NNH netball clashes only and will be subject to approval. Any not approved will not be charged.

Example: Team 1 and Team 2 have the same umpire - Team 1 and Team 2 need to be on different rounds

Time requests are not for personal or school event requests.

Additional Players

Additional players are those who register to play once the season has already started.

There is a $10.00 fee for additional players. This must be paid when the form is filled.

The form can be filled by school coordinator or coach/manager (They need to inform you so you can add player/s to their team.

Please note there are two different forms and both must be filled before the player takes the court:

First they need to fill the additional player form on the right hand side. This form will show in our system they are registrered to play at NNH.

Second, they need to fill your own school netball registration form.                                                                   Netball North Harbour - Club & School List. This will ensure they will appear on your school list to be added into the respective team on TeamBuilder.

Umpires

All teams need to supply their own umpires.  If you wish your team/s to be included in the programme for us to allocate one for your team, please contact Sharon Fraser on sharon@netballnorthharbour.co.nz   All umpire enquiries should be directed to Sharon.

Our rate for umpires is $10.00 per game - This is direct cash payment to the umpire before the game commences.

There are new rules to be implemented - Please remind coaches to become familiar with these

Defaults and Cancellations

Teams/schools need to notify Bailee on the day by 12pm if a team is defaulting.  This allows us to get the message through to the opposition.

A late default fee of $50.00 will be invoiced to the school if a default is communicated after 12pm on the day.

Coordinators should email Bailee if there is a default so we have it in writing. Alternative is by phone call to the reception.

Please advise all team/game details so we can quickly contact the opposition.

Cancellations

We vey rarely cancel netball but if we do we will make the decision at 1.00 pm on the day.  We will email all the schools and use the website/social media sites to distribute the message.  Please ask parents to not ring NNH at 10.00 am in the morning if it is raining!!

Games will be shifted forwared by 1 week if cancelled.

Photos & Videos

As part of the registration process, when parents accept the terms and conditions of the registration form, NNH has the right to take photos of players which we use for promotional material, social media posts, etc, about tournaments, programmes or leagues.

In 2025 the Arena games will be filmed.  This will only affect Year 7 & 8 Grade 1 teams.  This is a pay by view service, the same company that do basketball.  If parents, or grandparents, or coaches, wish to watch games, they have to pay separately to view the games.

If a school has any issue with any filming or photography of a child/ren, the onus is on the school to let us know.  Please contact Bailee.
