Netball North Harbour

Netball North Harbour is proud to announce our commitment to excellence through the re-establishment of an Athlete Development Programme (ADP), with the intent to improve the skill base of the individual players at Netball North Harbour

The ADP will provide a professional coaching environment for talented secondary school players and development coaches. We will be working with our Harbour coaches and invitation coaches to deliver the ADP programme.

This Athlete Development Programme has been designed to work on a player's individual skill and understanding of the game of netball. As this programme is about ‘individual skill development’, we will be selecting a squad of players (not a team), our whole purpose is to take the player from their club or school team and make them better and more knowledgeable as an individual, meaning that they can take that heightened strength, knowledge and skill back to their club and school team.

This programme is not a guaranteed pathway into our representative teams but it will be extremely beneficial to any player that is interested in playing representative netball for North Harbour either this year or in the future.

Age groups are U16 and U14. (**U14 players must be attending secondary school (Yr 9) to register) numbers will be limited.

Dates

Trials - Wednesday 18 February 7pm - 9pm

in the Onewa Arena at the Barfoot & Thompson Netball Centre (Trials are closed to parents and spectators)

ADP is a 4x week programme with a strength/conditioning and netball skill development session each week:

Wednesday evenings 6pm - 7:30pm February 25, March 4, 11

Sunday mornings 8:30am - 10:30am February 22, March 1, 8, 15

Cost

$20.00 non-refundable Trial Fee

$150.00 non-refundable fee per athlete.
