The Player Development Programme (PDP) is an in-season development programme for Year 7 & 8 netballers. It focuses on both the technical and tactical elements of netball, athlete development and fundamental movement skills. N.B. This is not a representative team, the players work in their respective age group squads to develop their netball skills. Up to 30 players per age group will be selected from trials to participate in the Player Development Programme (PDP).

N.B. To be eligible to trial for the NNH Year 7 & 8 Player Development Programme (PDP) you must be a registered Year 7 or 8 player in either a school or club team that plays in the winter competition at NNH.

Dates

Trials for will be held Sunday 18th May in the Onewa Arena at the Barfoot & Thompson Netball Centre, 44 Northcote Road, Northcote 

Pleas note that all Registrations close Wednesday 14th May 2025. No late registrations will be accepted. 

• Year 8 Trials  - 8.30am -11.30am (registrations from 8.00am) 

• Year 7 Trials - 12.30pm -3.30pm (registrations from 12noon) 

• CALLBACK TRIALS for both Year 7 & 8 trialists will be held Friday 23rd May ,  4.00pm - 6.30pm 

N.B. Please note that if selected into the Yr 7 & 8 Player Development Programme, all players must be able to commit to the following training dates as listed below.

• Friday 30th May - 4.00pm -6.00pm
• Friday 6th June - 4.00pm - 6.00pm
• Sunday 8th June -  8.30am -11.30am
• Friday 13th June - 4.00pm-6.00pm
• Attend a PDP festival day - (Sunday) date TBC

Cost

$20.00 non-refundable Trial Fee 

$200.00 non-refundable fee per athlete (selected players) payable by 6th June 2025
