Information

• First round is at 4.00 pm with the Year 3 teams playing. 
• Year 4 to 6 play 4.40 pm and 5.20 pm.
• League runs for 6 weeks.  Last week is 24th November.
• Round is 40 minutes long.  4 x 8 minute quarters.  1 minute between quarters and 2 minute half time.  4 minutes between rounds - FOR ALL TEAMS

Year 3 Teams 

Year 3 play the 5a-side game.  For more information on how to play this game, please go to the Netball NZ futureFERNS website  You can also download the resource from the website on the skills and drills for this age group.  You can use this resource to help you with your warm up, ie focus on one skill each week.  

Year 4/5 teams

• Year 4 changes ends at half time.  Year 5 & 6 change every quarter.  If you are playing a Year 4 team, change at half time only.
• Rolling subs are allowed, meaning you can make changes at any time.
• Normal netball rules apply - including NO WEARING OR TAPING OF JEWELLERY.
• Year 4 play on 2.6m high hoop and Size 4 ball.  Year 5 & 6 on a 3.05m and Size 5.  Again if playing a Year 4 team, they can have the lower hoop down their end.
• 3 boys on court at once and cannot have 2 in the goal circles, eg GK&GD and GS&GA
• No rotations for Year 4 ^ 5 teams, coaches can do as they please but still good to rotate players around the court.
• Scoring app is to be used to score the games.  Team Access codes have been sent to teams.  Please refer to the the Scoring App Page on our website on instructions on how to score game if unfamiliar. https://www.netballnorthharbour.co.nz/draws-results/scoring-game-day-app-1

Defaults:  If you are going to default, you MUST let me know by 1.00 pm on the day of the game.  Please do not just turn up.  Your team will be fined $50.00 default fee.

REMINDER:  THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION.  Players are learning and having fun and there are some young umpires, umpiring for the first time.  BE KIND and no comments.  If you need help go and see Kate.
