Netball North Harbour Umpire's Association

Netball North Harbour Umpires Association was founded in 1954 and has been a strong and constantly changing Association since then, producing top New Zealand Umpires and Regional New Zealand Examiners, as well as coaching a base of qualified umpires to umpire at both School and Club level.

We have a large and friendly membership run by a Committee which deals with all the day-to-day issues. We run theory classes for every level of umpiring as well as provide the assistance required to pass the corresponding practical badges.

Netball North Harbour Umpires Association runs development squads commencing with the Junior Whistlers at Primary and extends to our Performance Centre Squad some of who are appointed to attend New Zealand Tournaments.  Our top New Zealand umpires assist our squads to achieve their best umpiring levels possible.

We have top franchise and National Championship umpires in our midst as well as New Zealand umpires appointed by Netball New Zealand to attend NZ Age Groups and NZ Secondary School Tournaments.  We have a pool of Bench Officials who attend major tournaments around New Zealand as Scorers, Timekeepers and Statisticians.

We would welcome your umpiring enquiries anytime whether you are just beginning out on your umpiring path or are at present umpiring at the top level and moving into our region.
