Primary Winter Competition Rules & Guidelines

There are some rules at Primary level that are different than netball played by older players.  This is to allow young people the opportuntity to develop their netball skills.  Some of these adapations are:

• Lower hoops (2.6 metres) and smaller balls (Size 4) for Year 2 to Year 5.
• Rotations for Year 2 to Year 5
• Boys are allowed to play up to College age, up to 3 on Court but only 1 in the goal circle

TImings and rules around substitutions are slightly different for those doing rotations.  Please check with the Control Room if you are unsure of these.

Rotations
