Primary Schools Coach and Umpire Compulsory Classes
For teams entered into our winter competition the Umpire and Coach of each team is expected to attend one of the four nights. If you are doing both jobs you will need to attend two nights as you cannot be in two places at once! 8th, 9th, 29th and 30th April, 7-9pm in the Function Room Why Come? Please arrive earlier for registration and picking up your packs and dress appropriately for courtwork.
The Coach will receive a free ball for the school, Coaches Handbook with rules and regulations pertaining to the competition, Booklet of hints and tips, information on Rotational Play and the Fair Play Certificates. The Umpire will receive a free whistle, a Booklet of hints and tips, Information on handling the rotations and expectations of allowances for Primary netball players. Experienced umpires will be taken outside to further their movement and scanning skills. Beginner umpires will cover theory. Non attendees will not be given the free balls or whistles.
