ESTABLISHING YOUR OWN TEAM OR CLUB
If you want to play with a group of friends and set-up your own netball team you could approach a club and ask to enter a team under their umbrella. You would be subject to their rules, club colours and be required to pay their club fees or you could become a ‘single’ team club. You would need to register your team by completing the Netball North Harbour Application for Affiliation form and pay any required fees (in 2009 these were a non-refundable entry fee of $25.00 and senior club and premier fees were $840.00 and $1080.00 respectively).
The maximum number of players that a club team can register is twelve with a minimum of seven players registered on the team form.
You will also need to purchase a uniform (skirt and top or dress) and register the colours and style of your uniform.
