CLUB	COLLEGIATE NETBALL CLUB
CLUB INFORMATION:	Collegiate Netball Club was first establshed in the early 60's by June Mariu and has been one of the most prominent clubs in the Auckland, and now North Harbour, competitions since. 2004 saw the Collegiate Club move three of its teams to North Harbour after many years at Auckland Netball. Over the past three decades Collegiate have produced many SIlver Ferns including Yvonne Willering, Sandra Edge, Tracey Shortland, Teresa Tairi, Sheryl Clarke, Lorna Suafoa and Temepara George as well as national Under 21 players. The Colegiate Club has, in the past, as many as fourteen teams but in recent years have downsized to six teams to guarantee a high standard of coaching for all sides with two teams playing at North Harbour in 2009. 2009 was a very successful year for Collegiate with both teams winning their respective grades. Our vision for 2010 is to grow the club and to bring the younger players through the grades. Our support crew (the parents and coaches) have worked bery hard this year to ensure all the younger players good court time and that their game has evolved and we look forward to the challenge of bringing the next group up the grades.
