| CLUB INFORMATION: |
Carmel Marist Netball Club was formed in 1972. They represented North Harbour in the National Leage between 1982 and 1991. Since then Carmel Marist have continued to produce quality teams to add to their long history. In 2009, Carmel Marist was a ten team club. Team 1 played in the Premier competition and the remaining teams played between Senior 1 and Senior 9 grades in the North Harbour competition. Development of young players is a strong goal for Carmel, currently holding two development teams for young up-an-coming players and we are looking forward to growing this area. Carmel Marist invests time and effort into the development of their club coaches. All their current coaches have attended the NNZ Level 1 Coaching Courses and their teams benefit from this, with good results in the 2009 comeptition. |
