Beginning Coaching:
We hold courses for all levels of coaching from beginner to senior coaches, The starting out in coaching workshops are run reguarly at NNH .
The aim of this workshop is to assist coaches of Fun Ferns and Future Ferns how to best use the 'My Little Team and Me' (MLTM) resource. It will also give coaches some foundation tools to use in coaching practise to assist players to learn and develop.
The aim of this workshop is to assist Year 7/8 and secondary school coaches how to best use the 'My Team and Me' (MTM) resource. It will also give coaches some foundation tools to use in coaching practice to assist players to learn and develop.

There are five compulsory Modules involved in the community coach award, these are run on a regular basis across the region, the first module is Player Centred Coaching, as it’s the starting module once you have completed this you can go on and complete and of the other 4 in any order over a period of two years.
The Modules are:
- Player Centred Coaching
- Team Building
- Skill Analysis
- Planning
- Communication and Managing others.

Teaching Games for Understanding-This workshop is aimed at Coaches who need a little more inspiration and knowledge on how TGfU works, it’s a practical workshop designed to assist coaches of all levels to be able to take an on court situation and design a TGfU game to enhance players learning and decision making. Coaches Corner now open:
The VIP room upstairs overlooking the arena and outdoor courts is now set up for coaches as our space to use for all competitions, The latest coaching information ,courses and resources will be displayed .Please remember to respect the area so we can use it in the future, It is not available to teams or children to use .
